Sarah was my first singing teacher and was the first person who helped me to fall in love with singing. Sarah was a fountain of encouragement, patience, kindness and brilliant humour! Learning to sing can at times be a vulnerable experience: Sarah is the right personality to help you to flourish.
Sarah taught me during my high school years and helped prepared me for my undergraduate voice studies at the Melbourne Conservatorium. These days, after gaining some initial work experience in Melbourne, I'm studying my Masters of Opera at the Sibelius Academy in Finland and I'm afforded scholarships for additional tuition across Europe. None of this would have ever been possible if it wasn't for the first guidance and mentorship I received from Sarah. A singer's first teacher is responsible for setting up the foundational technique that is built upon during their entire career: I was immensely lucky to learn from a teacher of Sarah's pedigree and technical expertise so early in my journey.
Whether you are seeking to be a casual learner looking to learn a bit about your voice in a safe space or you want to start seriously pursuing singing, or anything in between, Sarah is the Wonder Woman for you! I cannot speak highly enough of Sarah and I will always be thankful for her support.

I was incredibly lucky to have Sarah as my singing teacher for 4 years during high school. She’s a fantastic, extremely experienced teacher that inspires confidence with her easygoing personality and warmth. She always knew how and when to push me to be my best, she made lessons fun and made me appreciate and enjoy the music.
Her technique training is well based and very practical. I was inexperienced at musical theory and often felt behind, she brought it down to something I could understand which allowed me to progress to performing challenging classical pieces.
I worked with Sarah closely in my HSC year, she helped choose and prepare a program of classical and musical theatre pieces. I was able to receive an Encore nomination which I credit to how closely we worked to refine my performances throughout the year.
Beyond school, Sarah provided me opportunities that have allowed me to continue to pursue my love of classical music. I now study with Maestro Simon Kenway, perform at the Conservatorium of Music and was a TOSC Artist in their Visions of Verdi Program.
Sarah has also always been a shoulder to lean on for advice. I am so grateful to have had her as a teacher.
